I have been into politics since I was little. Both my father and grandfather were heavily involved in local politics as part of the Bulgarian Communist Party. When I was 17 years old, I wrote a letter to the local municipality with suggestions on how to improve my hometown. When I was 18 years old I participated in major mayor elections as a youth PR and then I was let down from the people in Bulgarian politics.
I believe in politics as a tool to solve problems. The issues that I have discussed below don’t apply to a single country – rather, it is a collection of beliefs that I have gathered throughout the years by living in Bulgaria and the US.
